swimmersThe only way we are able to produce The Hukilau™ each year is with the help of our team of volunteers that dedicate their time to help make it happen.

We are in need of enthusiastic tikiphiles to help us with various activities over the weekend including:

  • Helping at the Registration Desk
  • Answering questions as a Hukilau™ Ambassador
  • Selling goods at the Official Hukilau™ Merchandise Hut
  • Coverage throughout the weekend

Our volunteers are rewarded with event passes and other goodies. We appreciate them so much!

The Kiliki Cooler by Jeff "Beachbum" Berry

Every June, thousands of Tikiphiles from around the world migrate to Fort Lauderdale, where Christie “Tiki Kiliki” White throws the Polynesian Pop party of the year — otherwise known as the Hukilau. The Bum crafted this drink in Miss Kiliki’s honor when attending his first Hukilau in 2006.

Recipe: Into your shaker pour 2 ounces Appleton V/X rum, 1/2 ounce each of fresh lime juice, unsweetened pineapple juice, orange juice, passion fruit syrup, and Fee Brothers coffee syrup. Shake well with ice cubes. Pour unstrained into a double old-fashioned glass.
